Great Endeavor Homeschoolers

We have a lot of ways for people to form friendships and get involved.  We are a working corporation looking for like minded families to be involved with a local community founded on Biblical principles.  Ridgecrest Baptist has kindly opened their doors for our group to call home.  We are grateful for their hospitality.

 What We Do

Field Trips

Field trips are scheduled throughout the year and take place at least once a month. Field trips are diverse and generally located in the Durham, Hillsborough, northern Raleigh areas. When you become a member, you will gain access to the GEH calendar, which will show you each field trip scheduled and give you the details you need!

Lunch Bunch

A great time to meet other families on a weekly basis with a bagged lunch for fellowship and playtime. We rotate between several Durham and Hillsborough area parks.

Mom's Night

GEH hosts monthly get-togethers for moms to connect and fellowship. This is a great way to get involved in our group and meet other homeschooling moms. The focus and fun of the evening differs from month to month, but be assured you are always welcome!

Parties & More

Seasonal and holiday parties and other fun events are always something to enjoy, and they are built in to the calendar to make them as convenient as possible for your family.

The GEH Academy is a co-op that offers student enrichment for three Tuesdays a month from August to May (specific dates and other details can be found on the General Information page). Academy enrollment fees are separate from the family membership, but all members of GEH are eligible to participate in GEH Academy. Becoming part of the GEH academy is not required to be a part of the group, but many members find it to be the fastest way to connect with other families while learning
